Goldshield Castle is an unique multi-million dollar private residence project, combined with viable, multi-faceted for-profit entrepreneurial ventures such as a winery, live events, rental spaces, fine-living goods, services and multi-media entertainment and educational productions. The castle will be created on a spectacular ten acre mountain site in Valley Center, California, where several successful, well-known attractions are located within driving distance. Goldshield Castle Bedroom: The "East" Room (Design)

5.  The East Room

Season: Fall
Colors: Burnt Orange, Purple, Deep Green, Ebony
Theme: Economy, Sensibility, Function

Description: This rustic room will be plain and simple, straightforward. This room could be used as a "sitting room" for solitary activities with a place to read, write, play cards, knit, and so on.

Alternative Bedroom:  A highly-functional modern-day room (which could act as the fifth bedroom) could be positioned near the kitchen and laundry room area for employee lockers, performer's dressing room, guest bedroom, maid's quarters or extra storage.

Goldshield Castle Bedroom: The "Attic" Room (Design)

4. THE "ATTIC ROOM"

Season: Winter
Colors: Charcoal, Grays, Plum
Theme: Creepy, Treasures, Zodiac

Description: This austere room will have a Queen-sized bed with a four-poster frame, lined with heavy fabric curtains.  The walls will be of blackened wood paneling, laced with cobwebs, and the floors of wide, dark planks. Taxidermy crows will hover from the oppressive heavy rafters...A ghost appears every night at 2 am...

This is the famous Haunted Room!

A gas light can be created from a metal bowl and fake
logs, similar to a small fireplace.

Goldshield Castle Bedroom: The "Kid's" Room (Design)

3. THE "KIDS" ROOM

Season: Summer
Colors: Royal Blue, Warm Tans
Theme: Theatrical, Whimsical

Description: This eclectic room will have twin beds in case friends want to share a room (but not necessarily a bed) or if children stay. Masks, puppets and musical instruments from all over the world will adorn the shelves.

The bathroom will have a shower/tub resembling a row boat.

Goldshield Castle Bedroom: The VIP/Honeymoon Suite (Design)

2. VIP/HONEYMOON SUITE

Season: Spring
Colors: Cream, Gold, Yellowish Green, Burgundy Wine
Theme: Flowers/Tree of Life, Shiny Objects, Relaxation

Description: The light and up-beat VIP/Honeymoon Suite will have a Cal-King sized bed, draped in yards of plush velvet. Perhaps the bedcovering will be of unbleached sheepskin. The floor could be wood framed near the walls with marble inlay in the center of the room.

The Honeymoon Suite bathroom (the largest in the estate) will have a wooden tub surrounded by Roman-esque mosaics and frescos depicting tasteful nudes bathing. Sensuality will exude from every surface...

Goldshield Castle Master Bedroom (Design)

1. THE MASTER BEDROOM

Colors: Chocolate Brown, Gold, Midnight Black, Beige, Forest Green

Theme: Dragons, Shields, Science, Nature, Metal

Description: The unfussy, masculine Master Bedroom will have a queen-sized bed on a platform for dramatic effect. The rustic walls and flooring will be of stone.  A well-used desk will sit in a window alcove as the whole space is well-defined by function -- study, rest, preparation.

Ancient books and artifacts of long-ago sit about, bits of agricultural samples in hand-blown glass jars line the bookshelves, as wells as feathers, rocks, taxidermy...  A formal portrait of the estate's owner will be hung over the fireplace...  Think Leonardo da Vinci's private room... (This bedroom room will not be for public use.)

Hand-crafted  metal lighting fixtures such as the one shown in the image above can be found in Mexico and can easily be modified for propane gas for fire instead of electricity. A back-plate in the shape of a shield can be manufactured.
